58:00 if humans could live forever they would get bored. How would they continue to entertain themselves? Simulations of historical events could be one way. I'm reminded of the Buddha saying that if you as an individual became enlightened you would also be freeing the minds of countless other sentient beings. Equanimity, compassion, and wisdom are the keys to freedom in this paradigm. If we could all stop constantly wanting more, this whole horror show wouldn't be unfolding in the first place.
