People who make ai art will never understand one of the biggest reasons people draw in the first place is because it’s enjoyable, just like they might enjoy fishing or golfing, artists enjoy drawing. They have a passion for it.
Ai artists don’t understand this about art and have a very simple mindset where they think it’s simply about finishing an image and that there is no other motive or reasoning behind art. Trying to use “Ai can do it fast” as an argument is no different than treating art as work people would rather not be doing. We want Ai to do the tasks most people don’t want to do like dishes, laundry… not take over peoples freedom to do hobbies and tasks they find fun.
