A guy whose whole career is in AI business - fear mongering about AI is a way to get people to buy AI as a solution to AI. These guys are also delusional in their thinking - we are not anywhere close to having AGI (ie: True AI) LLM's are nothing more than regurgitation machines that were trained on garbage data. They have their use cases but over all any company going all in on this is going to face a harsh reality when the bubble bursts and it will eventually. The AI grift is nothing more than companies trying to extract as much wealth out of the system as they can before it pops and they know it will pop. The VC grift is what has caused us to get to this crappy point - where we no longer use business metrics to value companies but rather funding rounds. This was done because there was no regulations on "value" before IPO. So the guys would pump up a zombie company that makes no profit and won't ever and then gives it a huge value - when it does IPO then it becomes real and why you almost always have a massive drop on IPO day because all the insiders sell a ton of their stock. There is nothing more to it than that.
