as someone who has done hvac work driving around a large city for over 20 years and driving across country and never been in a wreck. I also have taught a few people how to drive and the one thing i always say is that it dont matter that much if you drive with ur pinkys, your elbows, your toes.. the only most important thing is to keep those eyes on the road at all times. i do not agree with the use of self driving cars or even self assisted cars. what happens is you get a person like this cutting corners and then it becomes a scenario where someone dies and who do you blame. obviously this person is going to blame the technology and the technology will blame the person. this is why these cars should not exist. we obviously are not technologically advanced yet to be able to come close to doing something like this but yet they continue to allow it. this absolutely infuriates me. Even though i know that the driver of that car messed up I personally put the blame fully on the autonomous car company. This should not even be a thing at all. I do not feel safe with children walking to school and you got garbage like this on our public taxpayer funded roads!
