About half of all job creation is from companies with 50 or fewer employees. How can you expect these companies to pay people the same for a 32-hour work week without raising their prices?. Large companies can do that because they will be able to afford the robots and artificial intelligence but small businesses will not be able to afford these technologies within the next 10 years. Also one of the reasons companies have been laying people off is not necessarily because of advancements in AI but all of the investments they're making in AI is being offset by cuts in the labor force. Additionally, where is the revenue for these businesses going to come from if 100 million people are out of work?
