I believe that artificial intelligence is purely the next step in organic life. Just like how we went from cells to multicellular organisms to humans, maybe our purpose is simply to carry on this organic life progression to the next stage: silicon life forms. Maybe we are not the forever step, we’re just the next step in the chain and above us is AI. Our purpose was to create AI just as nature intended. We were designed to self-destruct. We’re not the ones to live out the future but rather build it. AI is simply the next step in life, the age of flesh is over.
