The thing is: Artistis will still do art with ai arround just like people still playing instruments with records and mp3s arround. Noone's comming for your hobby. It's just that it will be harder to make a living off of it. In ye' olden times when you wanted musik, you had to hire a musician or pay to see one, that included silent movies where musicians sat in the thaeters and played along during the showing. By the time sound was added films, there were protest by musicians opposing the development. Among the things artists said were "it's soulless", "it's kitch", "sounds bad", "ruins hearing", "erases livelyhoods of musicians". And now I ask you: Is that a concern you have with movies? Something will come out of the AI-art development. It will not be the thing Tech-douches or cooperations want it to be and it won't be a world without AI-art. And whatever it is, it will be normal to everone a couple of decades down the road. (that is, if we don't send each other back to the middle ages in the mean time)
