saying that people who can draw are "born with a gift" sounds disrespectful to me. like, fck you mean??? when i first started drawing, it was when i was a child and it was nothing but stick figures and square faced characters. seeing that my friends liked my bad drawings back then, gave me motivation to keep learning. and it took YEARS to do that. even now, my drawings still looked like a beginner, but i came a long way for that. when i first tried out ai art, the first thought that came to my mind was.. it was nothing like i had in mind. in my mind, it was more beautiful but, when i made the ai art, it doesn't look anything like what i want. doing ai art just feels meaningless. its like, you never have to struggle to achieve it, its just way too easy. a real artist could look back and say, "wow, i can't believe i manage to make it up here. i deserve this after how much effort i put to get here." while ai artist can't do that cause all they can look back to, is their meaningless accomplishment. there's no effort in it, there's no struggle. so there's no meaning to it, it's emotionless.
