While something like this would be a nightmare, it should be remembered to AI capable of this in a small drone means a bigger system run by AI with substantially more processing power would undoubtedly defeat the drones as they are by studying the same tactics they possess followed by outprocessing them(coupled with laser defense weapons, which the US Army has demonstrated is capable of striking and igniting larger drones within seconds at the prototypical level, with more powerful lasers on the way).
So these drones wouldnt remain valuable or viable for long, but we would probably go down a very dangerous path by creating faster and smarter AI...perhaps ending up creating an AI that achieves sentience and not in a positive way.
So overall, something like this is bad news less because itself is bad and more because the technological arms race would be responsible for creating things we may completely lose control of.
