The Thing is AI in its current form on its own works best with people operating it.
The real issue is the K shaped economy and the tale of two worlds. B2C is seen as unnecessary because constant upwards wealth transfers. B2B is the focus.
AI is just the excuse. Most of the people in these firms are being emotionally blackmailed to work more using the ai tools with the threat of layoff just as some of their coworkers were laid off.
