Arguably every fire and forget missile is an autonomous weapon, especially the ones with jam resistance. And I forget if it was Iraq 1 or 2 but there was an American fighter pilot who decided to double check their target visually and it turned out to be a UN passenger jet.
One interesting recent model is those Israeli missiles that can be remotely detonated if civilians get too close to the target; instead of autonomous fallback it’s manual veto.
