Maybe try taking this topic seriously. Superintelligence, really? There is real potential for significant job disruption in the future because of AI, and we need to talk about it and take it seriously. But not this fear-mongering hypemonster called “superintelligence” or “AGI.” Disruptions are going to come from much more boring things like “AI tools automating spreadsheets” or other boring business tasks that people are currently employed to do. Hard to take this seriously as a news outlet when you have clowns like this on.
