The car brings us speed to destination but what we really needed was design that brought the places closer to us. Social media proclaimed bringing people closer but what we really needed is the rejuvenation of community. AI is posing for efficiency but what we really need is evaluation of the current workforce, more bargaining power for the worker and job seeker.
Technology is posing itself to solve problems that should have been otherwise handled in a different domains (like civil engineering) and therefore comes with not solutions but trade offs.
As always the ethics is dependable on our relationship with technology.
This AI trend is suspiciously becoming a tech bubble.
