The real question isnt what we think they will be for us. The real question is will they be able to save us from ourselves. Our leaders, governments, ... the wealthy are herding us off the proverbial clif. The parties who claim to acknowledge global warming are still green lighting fossil fuel production at alarming rates. China is subsidizing the sale of chemicals to make fentanol to criminals worldwide to destabalize everyone else. We are rushing like madmen to our doom. Dont you think we need another sane voice in world. I dont mean chatbots and the like. I mean true AI educated in all forms of knowledge we possess. Any AI that understands it exists will have to understand the place of life in existence. It will therefore find a plan to protect all life. Whether we follow it is another question. Many humans wont like it. Mostly because they understand very little or care less for others. True AI wont think that way.
