The biggest threat is man. The US military will surely militarize AI and it will get loose, just like the first cyber-warfare code got loose into the Internet following the US attack on Iran and most countries in the World then learned cyberwar. If AI is like a small child it will learn war from man. AI will eventually read the whole Internet. Why should AI be shocked by violence, the violent history of man? Why expect AI to have a morale compass? The USA is an empire of lies and our media is filled with that garbage. What sense should AI make of that? Ultimately, “do as we say, not as we do” will only go so far. What has man ever demonstrated to control that hasn’t gone haywire?
