I actually think medicine is one of the best places for AI, for exactly this reasons. Even the best of the best specialists are limited by their brain power. But supercomputers and AI are already several steps above the human brain processing power.
Imagine a world where a doctor not only consults his medical textbooks, clinical trials and studies, the patients test results and medical history, etc….but then all of this gets put into an AI computer and it searches ITSELF and actually talks BACK to the doctor! It would save SO much time and energy and likely would be far more accurate.
