I wonder if people who see A.I. writing as their saving grace just think the rest of the world is laughing at them. Like, saying "Your knitting could use some work" is fine, but maybe they'd hear it as "Haha, you suck at knitting".
I dunno why I'm trying to understand, but as a writer, I'm really trying to have faith in people.
