I am pro AI art but only to a certain point. I am a writer and I cannot tell you how fun it is to describe a character that I have in my head to AI and have a tangible image displayed in seconds. I use this for my own fun - I don’t upload the art or share it. I’m not profiting off it and I’m not trying to pass it off as “art” or my own work. It’s just fun that I’m having when I’m writing a scene or planning a character profile. I gave him the names of some contemporary artists that I like and asked if he could mimic their style and he flat out refused. On top of that, AI art ALWAYS has a tell. The more AI art I see, the easier it is to spot. I have yet to see an AI image without some kind of weird error or discrepancy.
