Amazon has recently laid off 30,000 CORPORATE jobs. Not warehouse workers or delivery people. White collar professionals, in HR, and management positions are being replaced by AI, that has the capability to assess resumes, and functions that would have taken thousands of people to invest time and research to implement changes within the company.
So, these AI's are not just going to hurt low-skill workers, but will have a negative impact on the PMC, who've invested time and money in their education, they're going to be paying for indefinitely and jobs aren't going to be there.
