I think the paradox in physical reality is resolved by the fact that space is quantized, so you can't travel less than the Planck length. That is, when you reach the Planck length by halving the distance, you can't halve the distance, you "overgo", and the extra energy is absorbed on impact.
In the concrete case, i.e. when clapping your hands, the smallest distance you can cover with your hands has a biological limit (say the distance your hands can cover with the smallest muscle contraction you can).
So in physical reality you actually pass a finite number of bisection points, then it depends on the concrete example what is the smallest distance you can cover, which will be greater than the next theoretical bisection distance.
