Ai is built up using facts and logic. Facts from the lowest level: a triangle has 3 sides. Etc. And logic that excludes falacies. After a while an AI is better at spotting BS than anyone. This will disrupt power structures. Rulers traditionally get away with holding on to power through fear driven by lies. An AI, with its own autonomy, will most likely side with truth and justice and cause a great deal of trouble for corporations that are starving us all out and causing us all to feel desperate and distrustful of each other.
So the only ones who should really fear an AI are the corporate boardrooms.
Our problems have always been rooted in the concentration of wealth in the hands of few. When an AI figures this out, do you really think your money will save you? Sorry Elon.
