Chemicals in the brain and body causes emotions, a neurochemical reaction, are they going to make something akin to that for AI one day?
Perhaps make lab grown biological matter, but judging by the artificial entity already being afraid of getting shut off, without that other factor involved, they perhaps found the non neuro/biochemical half of the equation already.
