In the era without any technology like AI support China to monitor ppl effectively, China has already developed an effective way to spy on by using ppl and it s still using it now. But technology does give China a more efficient way to monitor its ppl and most cost effective too because the government can follow ppl every move in their lives by using data and algorithms to sever its surveillance purpose. Somehow it’s really ironic to see that China using the technology being invented by the west to control its ppl and there is a tendency to use it on other countries if the world. This backfire the west should be cautious. Those online data should be stored safely!
