AI is not smarter. It can only better store and analyze the EXISTING data. It can't think. It can regurgitate the EXISTING knowledge. It can't come up with a novel idea, even a stupid one. It can't replace humanity as a whole. Some professions, yes, for the above reasons. The professions that are suitable for intellectual robots, but no inventor will ever be replaced with the AI.
