im glad that ai became a thing only when i was in college. i learned writing the hard way, and references the hard way, to the point where ai only is useful in essays to help clarify the assignment, or to elaborate my thesis (even though ill write myself instead of copypasting). in coding i think its even worse, i was in a project where my teammate pasted chat gpt's answer without even changing the commentary! this laziness absolutely infuriates me, we're in university, paying crazy amounts for this education, yet people refuse to even read what the AI gives them.
