If people did have a basic universal income and therefore more free time, perhaps we would have the emotional / mental / physical space to focus on building beneficial systems - soil health; organic farming, cleaning up oceans, community, etc etc! And not everyone loves their job - many would love to do something else but they have to work to create income. There could be a real benefit here, but it may take a mindshift in many of us. We are capable of great things, simply being kind humans. Kind to ourselves and to others.
