The concept of copyright existed for a long time. AI platform creators just chose to ignore it. And I hope it will backfire.
You can create something using AI but it will never belong to you and you will never be able to copyright it. Also it will make our world poorer, when creative minds stop to create because of AI. Also in my view it's cheating. If you want to write a novel then use your own brain, your experience, your vision. The thing is a great novelist needs life experience. And visual art, seriously, is it really this satisfying to type just a few words and an image is spat out, that probably hardly looks as you visualised it? Learn to draw, get paper and pencils and learn to draw. What is satisfying is seeing your progress, How it looks better each time. Sure you won't be a great artist after a few months but it's not a race and it's not a competition. Art is so much more that an accumulation of data. Art is live. Earth without art is just Eh.
