On the long run cheating is giving people bad luck, I guess. On the short run they may profit from it. This is not about morality, but about personal growth. People will not enjoy their lives, if they are made up by A.I. achievements. And sooner or later the cheating will not help you if you do not genuinely understand what you are cheating about.
