In 2014, I worked for a company that over a couple years grew through acquisitions. Instead of hiring additional headcount for my department, my boss asked me to figure a way we can automate more and streamline. I developed a way to create a credit score card that would replace the need of an analyst underwriting smaller deals. This was before AI 🤖. AI there’s no need for a larger team. Instead of needing an analyst to underwire deals at $250K or $300K and less, I could use the credit tools my department used and through AI 🤖 approve or decline these credit applications as they arrive. AI is to reduce headcount, improve the efficiency and speed and reduce cost. This was being looked at over 10 years ago so if you are not bringing true value to an organization your job is in jeopardy.
