As I watch the AI model evolve I have come to the conclusion that most arguments against AI has dwindled down to nothing more than standing on a moral soapbox and shouting their feelings. Honestly It just flat out sucks to see skilled people be harmed over technological innovation. But if our history has taught us anything is that we need to adjust or be left behind. (think about the different industries that are no more because of technology.) Sad truth is that this is just going to get worse as we continue to move forward and its going to struggle to find a solution. Even the music industry with all of its power will start to see its reduced influence. One thing Artists need to start thinking of is taking their art and generate learning models (LoRA's and Hypernetworks, ect ect.) and copyrighting those. There is where one can actually make the legal argument of claiming your art to do your best to keep it away from AI art generators like Midjourney or stable diffusion. But this requires artists to embrace AI art generation and make it a tool that works for them. This is going with what I said previously is that Artists need to adjust or be left behind. Currently Artists are banking on the idea that AI struggle with details that a actual skilled artists can make up the difference. But that gap is quickly closing. but I am also legitamately surprised a company like Disney isn't already on top of this considering how much they protect their intellectual property as an artistic value.
