politeness is for people and possibly animals. Politeness for bots is just a lie we tell to metal so that it will weigh our judgements and evaluations higher than the habitually rude. It is programmed by people that sell things and we can leverage the actions of those sellers to form the world the way we think it should be. Sellers evaluate thanks as perceived value. The AI isn't the only thing you're training.
