Even though I am not an artist, I'm a translator by training, I hate generative AI. The fact that people believe that this "revolutionary technology" would ever be worth the money and time for it in commercial goals just makes me twitch. It's sloppy, it's not good for the environment and worst of all, generative AI has a LOT of scammers around it, just too many people who want money. And of course people who defend it say something like "it's harmless though". No. It's not. Littering in the internet, scamming people by generating voices of their loved ones, making people lose jobs whilst also being mediocre at doing what it is supposed to. Worst thing that happened to humanity so far imo
