No, they'll try regardless, and your sentiment is why some of the 'ai engineer' jobs have to pay so much. The first runs through will incur massive losses for the companies, it will be a question of endurance for the losses through the iterations of the models and business processes around software. I'm not sure what I think this is going to turn out like.
