The idea of a "robot tax" makes a lot of sense to me, not for the reasons indicated in the video, but because work will be performed by untaxed entities (robots and robotic automations) instead of employees on the payroll who pay taxes, which allows automated corporations to use all sorts of land, energy, resources, etc. without paying people who both spend money in the local economy and provide tax dollars to the government. All the money goes to the corporation, further consolidating wealth and stripping communities of resources both physical and economical.
