I never saw AI as a threat. I saw people regulating it as a threat. I saw those who are running the world right now using it the way they use everything, for more power and control. Those who are screaming all day about regulating AI work for those that will use AI in the future against the humanity.
If I ask AI to give me cure for cancer, free energy and to maximize my life expectancy, it will.
But those in power don't want that power in the hands of the people.
That's why they fear monger today, so they can better ''regulate'' tomorrow.
Their fear is justified.
