I'm not sure whether this is pro or con AI. There are a couple of things that stand out though - have you taken a good look at our lawmakers lately? With few exceptions (both parties) they are idiots and nowhere near competent regulate AI. Also, whatever laws they pass, big tech will find ways around them (even though they will be writing the laws with their lobbyists). This isn't a conservative or liberal issue.
