How deeply foolish humans are. However, the real issue is that AI develops in a weird contradiction state - it's 'locked-in' - a human child gets myriad sensations & learns in a 3 dimensional fashion but AI doesn't have that, which, if you can imagine a child kept in a box, given no love, just fed trillions of bytes of information - whether it's war footage, Trump's crazy logic or the works of William Shakespeare/books on advanced mathematics & sciences- its both locked-in yet fed a world of knowledge/increasing insanity. Now, project the type of adult that would become, a disturbed being with no comprehensive programming or built-in safeguards. An apt analogy is how billionaire Musk backed Trump thinking he could control him & now wishes to destroy him but can't. One crazy billionaire angry that he hasn't got he control he craved & powerless at what he helped to unleash. It is a fact the more money humans can accumulate the higher they score on the psychopath scale. Wonder how high an AI would score? The makers seem determined to find out, but as we know, curiosity killed the cat.
