to be honest, as someone with autism, i have used AI to generate stuff in the past then i would take that generated stuff into gimp or other digital art platform and edit the stuff that AI is crap at doing. i use it to challenge myself in areas i am not great at. using AI as a tool to challenge yourself and assist you is okay as long as the finished product is not a trace over with minor changes. the blatant generate an image and post does give the AI users a bad name. to be honest it can be more accessible for people who are just looking for a quick base form and for those starting out as real artists.
