I saw a video the other day where someone mentioned that the real problem is that AI has caused disruption at the bottom. Junior developers are either faking it and relying too heavily on AI or companies are trying to get more work out of senior developers by augmenting them with AI and not hiring junior developers. This is a problem because you cannot have senior developers in the future if there are no junior developers now.
