Programming a robot with feelings is 1. Asking for a robot to misinterpret our wishes and in return grant peace on earth by destroying the most destructive life form, Humans. 2. There is simply no need to program emotions in a robot. It is easier to do without it and mistreating it will not matter because of its lack of consciousness. Therefore a key to a utopian society is through non-conscious feelingless A.I to do our work and inventing.
