I think NDG is missing the point when he’s telling creatives to “constantly innovate”. Yeah sure - it can copy us and not do the same exact thing. But he forgets that in late stage capitalism, no one cares about that - the point of AI is to replace us cheaply, as tech CEO’s continually remind us. That’s what they’ve decided it’s best purpose is - well that, and surveilling us all endlessly. And unfortunately for everyone, we still need to pay to live on this marble, for whatever reason. So we can constantly innovate, and still starve. Sounds, um…GREAT. 🙃
