I work as a commission artist. People find me, like my style, tell me a description of the piece they want and I send them updates during the process so that they can get a better representation of what they originally imagined.
Do they think they're the artist making the piece? No, because they're not delusional self centered pricks, but AI users do basically the same thing and then pretend like they're some sort of artist. You're the commissioner here, if there's any artist it's the machine that actually made the piece.
