Human-mimicked voice seems remarkable slow in comparison to how quickly data can be distributed electronically. These platforms will read human micro-expressions and will easily be 10-20 chess moves ahead in an interface. When querying different AI platforms, some questions, such as the safest place to survive a nuclear winter is controversial for one platform, but not for another. If you ask one platform to cite 10 examples when conspiracy theories actually ended up being true, one platform may answer while another won’t due to pre-programmed guardrails. It’s interesting that publicly-available regenerative AI platforms often don’t allow human nudity; should human nudity be banished from art? Is there a place for artful nudity? These platforms often seem to strive towards a balancing of the equities; our Founding Fathers would disagree, would not view a monarchy positively, and would have a strong bias towards individual rights, with respect to property ownership, 2A, freedom of speech, etc. One wonders if AI is lulling humans who interact with into complacent lemmings who will sleepwalk off of a cliff. Will radical ideas (such as the egalitarianism posited by America’s founders, the reinterpretation of Jewish orthodoxy by Christ, Martin Luther’s reformation, Lincoln’s stand on slavery, MLK, Jr.’s progress on character rather than skin color) be diluted by an AI elitism? Will AI neuter human breakthroughs (ie, to evolve through failures and improve through creative destruction)? Will AI be the schoolmarm which refuses to let students leave the classroom and scrape their knees on the jungle gym? Couple such advanced sentience with mass hypnosis: what could possibly go wrong? ::straight face::
