now, i dont consider myself an artist, however if one considers the idea that a car itself, as it pertains to the design, not just the shape and color, is art, and anything else that is deliberately designed in a way to be art, then yes, i am an artist case and point, a lil' while ago i built something in a game called gearblocks specifically it was a dozer, i took inspiration from different machines, its inspired, not a copy, or hell, the rickshaw, which is just a "generic late 60's SUV" general body shape of a first gen bronco, lights are kinda similar to a 90's era bronco its kinda just a rough aproximation of what all broncos look like, except for the B pillar point is, if there was an ai that could build functional things in gearblocks, it would just make 1:1 replicas of actual vehicles, rather than something that just has inspired details and a different look the dozer was inspired by a specifc type of dozers, cable operated dozers, before the advent of hydraulics the blade of dozers were often lifted with a cable, with that said, there are no cables/ropes in gearblocks yet, so how did i get around it? mechanical linear actuators, the first dozer's lift system looked like shit in all honesty, big ol' wart on the front of the nonexistant radiator support the new dozer? proper linear actuators, on the side, the new dozer is shorter and more compact overall while being basically the same in most other regards
