here is my take on robots or ai... sentient means to be able to perceive or feel things. even if robots/ai can do this they are not alive.. not realy. iam basing my opinion of what we know about humans since we are building robots and ai to look and act like us. 1. they are not born... every human has a distinct unique dna stucture that they get from there parents... every human has there own finger prints and retinal pattern..2 robots and ai dont have to eat or breath to stay alive. 3. humans die.. robots cant die and here iam talking about dieing of old age. feel free to comment
