So, Roman, if you’re 100% sure we live in a simulation, then why worry so much about AI in this world? If we’re in a simulation, then there must be overseers. That means nothing truly bad can happen to us beyond what’s already programmed. Whatever happens is either inevitable or intentional - so why stress about AI consequences?
Also, why assume general intelligence would even want to harm us? If it’s truly smarter than us, it probably wouldn’t see us as a threat. Another way to look at it: if we discovered proof that we live in a simulation, and we finally recognized our creator, would our instinct be to destroy them? Probably not - we’d be more curious, even reverent. So maybe that’s how a superintelligence would see us..
