i think the only way that gen ai has positively influenced me, is that i’m no longer so caught up in all of the “mistakes” that i make in my own art. like a computer can make the most visually beautiful thing i’ve ever seen, so why should i be so caught up with the things that make my drawings look bad?
i don’t want my art to (just) be pretty anymore, i want it to be a unique reflection of me, and i’m not always pretty
clumsiness and imperfection is such a human emotion, that shouldn’t necessarily be rewarded, but it creates understanding and companionship in a way i’ve never seen before
