THE TRICKLE DOWN THEORY OF WEAPONOMICS:: build any weapons system (any at all, autonomous or not) and in our Military, Industrial, Congressional Complex, it WILL get into the hands of terrorists sooner or later. Mr. Reagan and the Iran-Contra scandal is a perfect example of this dynamic.
In case there are doubters still willing to argue this, consider the fact that there is an airplane graveyard out in the mid-west housing military planes of many sorts. The most interesting planes there by FAR are the ones that the military counldn't use from the moment the aircraft came off the assembly line. There are literally planes on that site that flew only once:: directly from the assembly-base to the graveyard.
TENS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WASTED, all because politicians inside the Beltway are SO out of touch with reality they just HAD to have weapons-systems that will NEVER BE USED!
Imagine what will happen when they start having fleets of hunter-drones, equipped with Terrninator-like brains, and someone who hates this country either gets ahold of the machines' access-codes, or otherwise hacks into these murder-devices' OS.
