I don't have any issue with ai taking over jobs, but it is the government's job to prepare for this and make sure its people are cared for. We need UBI and free education to train people to do the jobs not being done by ai. I don't think it's a good idea to halt technological progress just because people will lose their job. The government just needs to have plans already in place to adjust to these changes.
