There is only one Plan B for a fully automated society – and that’s socialism. Capitalism will inevitably destroy itself. The only way to live peacefully in a society that no longer needs jobs is to ensure that robots work for everyone, not just for a handful of the rich.
There are only two possible outcomes:
A: The rich keep control over AI and algorithms, automate everything, and hoard the benefits. But then—what do they even need poor people for? If they don’t care about their workers today, why would they care about the rest of us tomorrow, when machines can build their homes, harvest their food, and do everything else?
B: We, the workers, recognize this problem and fight for a society where human rights are equal for all and everyone’s basic needs are met.
There isn’t much time left. Workers of the world—unite!
